Front Page & Double page semiotic analysis
- The first noticeable aspect of the front page is the aesthetically pleasing contrast of colours , with the black and white image of Kate Moss taking up the entirety of the page and the bright Pink masthead and white text.
- The image of Kate Moss indicates that this magazine is high end and mainstream as Kate Moss is an incredibly famous fashion model who is recognisable globally.
- As an audience we can see that this issue is special and celebratory through the icon of 25 and the text explaining it's an anniversary , perhaps explaining the appearance of Kate Moss.
- However the fact Kate Moss is on the front page is made to be a huge deal as her name is only simply placed in white medium sized text at the bottom of the page
